Abstract:

This Master’s thesis provides an introduction to the Industry 4.0 technological pillars, with an insight on Smart Factory and Internet of Things. Then, it is deeper presented the deriving concept of Supply Chain Digitalisation, resulting from the integration of I4.0 technological innovations. Furthermore, the suggested solutions focus on the implementation of Additive Manufacturing into production processes and in particular on Multi Jet Fusion technology. Several Supply Chain Digitalisation models are developed, to be later applied to real companies’ case studies, in order to show different market segments results: HP, Everex, FCA Group, and Campetella Robotic Center. Finally, there is a section related to economic and environmental impacts analysis, and the proposal for an implementation plan.
