Trattandosi di una realtà fìsicamente e culturalmente lontana, parallelamente allo sviluppo del progetto sono emerse una serie di questioni e tematiche di difficile soluzione "a distanza".

Un soggiorno di circa un mese a Seul (dal 24.04 al 19.05.2009), ospitato dalla Konkuk University, è risultato di particolare utilità per ottenere alcune risposte attraverso un confronto effettivo con la realtà locale. Nonostante le difficoltà comunicative e il contesto socio-culturale profondamente differente, le ricerche effettuate sul luogo mi hanno permesso non solo di prendere visione del sito di progetto e di acquisire le informazioni necessarie riguardo ad esso, ma anche di poter vivere in prima persona tanto la suggestione dei luoghi quanto le complesse e frenetiche dinamiche della vita in Corea del Sud.

Questo lavoro, che non pretende di enucleare verità dogmatiche riguardanti la società o la cultura coreana né, avvalendosi di un supporto scientificamente ineccepibile, di arrivare all'elaborazione di un progetto esecutivo "cantierabile" nell'immediato, si propone, tramite osservazioni e riflessioni avvalorate dall'esperienza diretta sui luogo, di arrivare a formulare un possibile sistema o programma abitativo che possa superare i limiti delle attuali tendenze dell'housing coreano e che sia economicamente e socialmente tanto valido quanto, eventualmente, attuabile.
