Abstract:

Argotec operates along two main business lines: Human Spaceflight Support and Small Satellites. The first core business regards innovative comfort technologies for space. The R&D team works for custom solutions for thermal management with the aim to apply this system for a ground application too. Platforms for deep space represents a very important Argotec product. All these services need mechanical parts. The principal common feature is that the whole Argotec supply chain is characterized by a low production of totally different parts. High flexibility and custom capability are required. It is difficult to buy these items because suppliers usually works with high and standard parts. Another problem arrives from facilities. Argotec promotes the all in house concept. There are several facilities ready for certification tests. The diversity in items to be tested has an impact in facility equipment. Let understand the company general production supply chain.
