Abstract
Analysis About ADAM Layerwise ManufacturinAtomic Diffusion Additive Manufacturing is a layer-wise indirect AM process, it is a recently developed process based on the Fused Deposition Method (FDM) and this process has great potential for the small scale production companies thanks to its low-cost 3D machine called Metal X and per part cost. ADAM is based on three main processes, 1) printing 2) de-binding 3) sintering, However, there is still limited knowledge of the process conditions and material properties fabricated through this process. Sintering plays a crucial role in the final consolation of parts. Therefore, in Thesis research, the work aims to study the standard process conditions and materials properties and the influence of different sintering conditions such as time and temperature on the porosity, microstructure, and mechanical properties of 17-4PH stainless steel parts.
The results suggest the optimum sintering condition to obtain highly dense parts with good mechanical properties considering standard sintered condition as reference properties
