Abstract:

This thesis investigates the role of Business Intelligence in the forecasting process, especially for companies operating in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry. A case study based on the working experience at Procter & Gamble is presented and specific improvements to the process and tools used together with their results are discussed.
