Abstract: |
This master thesis deals with the de- velopment of a unidirectional on-board battery charger for electric vehicles. The selected structure is composed by two stages: a T-type AC/DC recti- fier and a LLC resonant DC/DC converter. After analyzing the structures features and control strategies, each component of the battery charger was designed and sized based on the specifications of a real vehicle. Then, the models of the two converters were simulated in order to prove the feasibility of the proposed structure and the good charging capabilities, showing promising results. |
