Abstract
ARCHITECTURE, MOBILITY AND BIOPHLIC APPROACH: Design of new access paths of San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital using an Automated People Mover(APM) by active involvement of parking spaces and green areas. Today, while hospitals are healthcare centres that are used to serve and heal patients, they also are considered as a part of urban design. Such a design, needs to contain different aspects of urban settings such as, accessibility and aesthetic point of view. By accessibility, we mean not only to make the hospital accessible to every citizen but, to make such access in a more efficient way too. Similarly, the aesthetic aspect of the plan can provide a pleasant sense to a place that may produce an opposite feeling by its essence.
This thesis is a set of designs focused on the San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital ,and surrounding areas, located in the municipality of Orbassano in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont (regione Piemonte)
