This thesis is about the development of a service platform for a social cooperative based in Turin. The project stemmed from a consultancy contract between the social cooperative Stranaidea s.c.s. and the Department of Production Engineering and Management of Politecnico di Torino (DIGEP). The principal investigator has been Francesca Montagna, Associate Professor of Innovation Management and Product Development at the DIGEP, who has worked together with Master student and author of this thesis Giovanni Marco Losi. Creating a platform proved to be pivotal both to address innovative approaches to service design to be integrated in the cooperative’s established practices and to foster changes in the management and organizational structure of the cooperative.
