In the first section, the design of the new machining cell which is the first part of the thesis will establish the family part definition, where PQ analysis is performed, identify the process matrix and define the part numbers suitable to be manufactured and group them into families. After that, measuring the process, via different tools, which are the spaghetti chart to map movements, process at a glance which helps to understand the process and time observation registration. Then the whole process analysis, by calculating the takt time, draw the operator bar chart, making the capacity analysis, and filling the operator load chart to understand the process stability and efficiency.
