This thesis dissertation is not trying to justify the potential advantages of electric vehicles; instead, it investigates what the possible business models for OEMs to make use of electric vehicles in the best way possible are; especially in the ancillary markets. The suggestions, in the end, aims to propose KPIs to OEMs for long-term profitability by relieving the environment. For the people seeking answers to understand how to make a green impact on the environment by switching to clean energy, this study may depict a guideline. However, this thesis does not merely lean on the environmental benefits that EVs can provide but instead tries to answer, whether they are going to be sustainable also in terms of their technology, economic value and underlying infrastructure.
