The technology application in warehouse is becoming more important due the variability of orders, increasing the customer expectation about time to deliver and also the increase in cost competition. Because of this, different systems are being developed to attend the warehouse requirements in order to improve the processes. Considering this scenario, Eurofork is developing a new automated vehicle storage and retrieval system in order to optimize the order picking and packaging process. In the new system the shuttle contains an arm robot attached that picks the products at the storage location and build the mixed pallet. This study aims to evaluate the new system’s performance compared to existing one.
