Abstract
SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES - SDG11 This Thesis aims at selecting the primary wellbeing indicators which significantly affect the health of students. The methodology is applied at one of the classrooms at Polytechnic University of Turin( Polito), Italy. To this end, various criteria and indicators of three campus assessment tools namely Green Metric, Star and International Well Building Standard (IWBS) are compared. Consequently, IWBS is chosen focusing on the health of occupants. Seven indicators have been selected employing expert opinions and data availability as the most important indicators among the existing 105 features in IWBS. These seven indicators are categorized into two areas of indoor air and light that represent different effects on the student’s health.
Verifying the data of these indicators according to the target of IWBS, it is found that only five indicators meet the threshold of protocol
