This master thesis has the purpose to inspect what one or more micro cell insertion in a macro cell will provoke, e.g. in a mobile network. The micro cells are positioned in order to cover the hot spots and to unload the macro cell. The tools utilized are: a software (Tangram-II) to obtain the data from the different models (I created one model for each micro-macro cells arrangement), and a calcolous environment (FreeMat), similar to Matlab. The OS utilized is a linux distribution: Ubuntu 32-bit.
