Rel. Lorenzo Vaschetto. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Automotive Engineering (Ingegneria Dell'Autoveicolo), 2019
Abstract
The network of German universities RWTH Aachen, TU Braunschweig, TU Darmstadt, Universität Stuttgart, Universität Ulm, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie and TU Munich has decided to develop completely driverless and emission-free electric vehicles as part of the UNICARagil project and to lay the foundations for improving our mobility system. UNICARagil will use a modular and scalable vehicle concept to flexibly handle applications such as logistics and passenger transport. The aim of the project is the demonstration of four cases of use: private car, taxi, delivery and shuttle. The Chair of Vehicle Technology of the TU Munich is responsible for the design of the entrance doors and roof of the various vehicle models.
The UNICARagil TUM team is organized into two sub-teams: one responsible for the design of the door and roof kinematics and the other for the design of door and roof structures
