Rel. Maurizio Schenone. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Meccanica (Mechanical Engineering), 2019

Abstract:

The objective of the project is the redesign of the final product flow in the Mirafiori molding plant for FCA. The central point is the implementation of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). In this thesis the study of technical and economic feasibility is discussed, through a deep analysis of the work flow and the characterization of the plant. The entire project was supported by a technical team from the American company, supplier of AGV, JBT (John Bean Technologies). The output of this study is the dynamic simulation with different scenarios of the initial configuration and the benchmark with the current situation.
