Abstract:

Enterprise Architecture, which defines the current and desirable future states of an organization’s processes, capabilities, application systems, data and IT infrastructure and provide a roadmap for achieving the target from the current state, results to be a focal topic in the enterprise development process. Companies with full knowledge on EA and its use will probably have more possibility to succeed. In this context I elaborated this work, which firstly tried to depict the actual state of the art of EA in project-oriented companies and secondly, due to no tangible results in literature and due to fragmented solutions, I developed the study focusing in a specific methodology, used to approach EA projects, created by a leader company in the Software Industry.
