Abstract:

Longitudinal behavior of tires is one of the key performance for acceleration & Braking on vehicles, and it’s becoming even more important with the arrival of the electrical vehicles on the market, which achieve outstanding levels of torque. Since tyres plays such a key role into this performance, is very important to understand what are the design levers that the tyre engineer have at its disposal in order to optimize the longitudinal behavior.
