Abstract: |
COPERNICUS/SENTINELS OPERATIONAL AUTOMATION SUPPORT TOOLS ESOC is currently operating 6 Sentinel Satellites (S1A/B, S2A/B, S3A service to EUMETSAT, S5P) and will be soon operating Sentinel-3B, completing the initial Sentinels Constellation In order to support the Sentinels Operations Automation, there are a number of operational tools available, Notably: - An operations orchestrator (providing a layer of automation for the Mission Planning, operations conduction, etc) - An AI-based system to warn the operators and engineers of satellite/Ground segment malfunction during unmanned passes The student will be requested to prepare a short set of requirements derived from the user needs, define the required interfaces, trade-off the different solutions, configure the prototypes, implement the AI rules and associated scripting and, integrate it and validate it up to pre-operational use. |
