Abstract:

Gli obiettivi di questa tesi sono conoscere e arricchire la consapevolezza degli uten¬ti riguardo ai distretti sostenibili, in questo caso un campus universitario. Attraverso la descrizione di alcuni progetti realizzati in Europa ed un approfondimento di alcu¬ne parole chiave, tra le quali emergono i significati di “sustainable districts”, “urban form” ed “energy masterplan”, si è potuto comprendere le tematiche analizzate. Per incrementare il livello di consapevolezza di un utente medio, si è deciso di valutare l'efficacia di uno specifico strumento di apprendimento, il “Serious Game”. A tal fine, è stato istituito un workshop per gli studenti del Politecnico di Torino, allo scopo di definire i requisiti del relativo “game design document”. Il “Serious Game”, pieno di sfide e obiettivi da raggiungere, si pone quindi l'obiettivo di arricchire le conoscenze e la consapevolezza dei giocatori riguardo ai temi della sostenibilità e delle riduzioni dei consumi energetici del campus.
