Tale tesi si prefigge, dunque, l’obiettivo di rispondere ad un’esigenza concreta, quale il retrofit energetico, attraverso l’applicazione di una tecnologia ancora a livello sperimentale e in via di perfezionamento.

Inserendosi Palazzo di Città nel progetto di digitalizzazione del patrimonio pubblico, voluto dalla Città di Torino, è di fondamentale importanza proporre interventi che siano sì conformi alla normativa vigente di riferimento in materia energetica, ma effettivamente realizzabili dal punto di vista economico. Ne consegue, perciò, una stima dei costi e dei tempi di ammortizzamento di un ipotetico investimento.

Grazie al percorso di analisi sviluppato nella presente tesi, è possibile sottolineare come, oggigiorno, si tenda a pensare al BIM come ad una soluzione immediata per tutte le fasi inerenti il ciclo di vita di un edificio, dalla sua progettazione alla sua dismissione. Attualmente, tuttavia, il BIM si rivela valido per lo sviluppo di una visione di insieme ma non sufficientemente preciso per analisi settoriali, per le quali l’uso di software specifici risulta ancora maggiormente indicato e preciso.

Vista la grande espansione e le crescenti potenzialità sviluppate in questo campo in tempi recenti, si può prevedere ed auspicare un ulteriore miglioramento negli anni a venire, volto ad una progettazione integrale attraverso l’utilizzo di un numero ristretto di software.
