| Abstract: |
This study examines the investment behaviour and specialization patterns of venture capital firms operating within the European space economy. As declining launch costs and technological advances progressively transform space into a commercial domain, Europe faces the strategic challenge of mobilising private capital to capture value in a market projected to reach USD 1.8 trillion by 2035. Building on the literature that links venture capital specialization to fund performance and long-term competitiveness, this research explores how such dynamics materialise within the emerging European space sector. The study contributes to advancing the understanding of how financial specialization shapes investment behaviours and strategic patterns, while identifying conceptual and empirical gaps that warrant further academic investigation. |
