In the construction world, the integration of BIM methodology within processes is constantly increasing. Considering this phenomenon, this thesis presents how it is possible to apply this methodology to reduce risks, making risk assessment easier and leading to better evaluations. The benefits are demonstrated by displaying the results obtained through the direct application of the BIM methodology compared to classic approach. This study was conducted within the project of the new Turin-Lyon railway line, with a focus on operational construction site number 6: The La Praz safety site. The intent is to provide a practical and easily integrable example that rapidly leads to the benefits discussed in the literature. Furthermore, by framing the study within the TELT megaproject, we aim to demonstrate the effectiveness of the procedure even in the face of a considerable number of variables. |
