This thesis work aims to investigate the integration of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in small-medium enterprises. The study focuses on evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the optimized processes using value analysis. The research methodology involves a comprehensive literature review, case studies, and interviews with experts in the field. The thesis work presents an overview of the current state of WMS and RFID technology, explores the potential benefits of RFID technology integration into WMS, and identifies the challenges and opportunities of implementing the technology. The value analysis of the optimized processes using RFID technology demonstrates that the integration of the technology leads to significant improvements in both efficiency and effectiveness.
