At the core of this paper there is the examination of the global coffee industry from a quantitative and qualitative perspective, emphasizing the Office Coffee Service and Vending machines channel (OCS). Starting first by a description of the coffee, its history, types of coffee and production process. The document will investigate the sensitivity analysis of the main variables that affect the profitability in the business in the framework of the global sales at Lavazza company to set a commercial target for the markets with the help of the database provided by the company. Moreover, the study explores the influence of macroeconomic factors on business operations and sales performance (coffee volumes) from a worldwide point of view, considering both the pre and post pandemic status quo. The analysis was conducted through statistical and visualization tools used to conduct econometric analysis and evaluate the commercial target of the future sales inside of the Lavazza Company and OCS channel. |
