Business Intelligence systems

This thesis project stems from the partnership between BIOS Management S.r.l company and Clerici Auto group. BIOS is involved in the consulting field primarily related to management and business organisation as well as business intelligence systems, whereas Clerici is a customer of the first one dedicated to selling and taking care of cars with a dealer network spread all over the Lombardia region in northern Italy. Within this last mentioned company, such a Business Intelligence project has been developed, whose focus was the automation of all their budget processes with the purpose of obtaining a faster and more precise workflow. Specifically, this thesis relates to the disposal of extensive Excel file utilization in favour of the introduction of a new better process structure thanks to Board software application, showing to the client company how this approach would reduce the chance of data losses and human factor errors, in addition to the new concept of integrated filesystem versioning. Starting from the comprehension of the company necessities and work state, a new environment was developed from scratch in order to better replicate the workflows that were present and show the outputs in a structured dashboard.
