Abstract: |
The thesis is done in cooperation with IREN Ambiente, a business unit part of the IREN S.P.A group. IREN Ambiente is the society of the group that coordinates and manage the urban hygiene, the integrated waste cycle and the renewable energy systems controlling also more than 30 plants for the waste treatment. The managment of the urban hygiene and the waste collection is performed for the city of Torino, Vercelli and her 26 municipalities and for 119 municipalities present in Emilia Romagna in the provinces of Parma, Piacenza and Reggio Emilia. The services are performed for a total of 2,9 milions of inhabitants. The document will cover different topics related with maintenance engineering, KPIs and instructions on how to improve workshops efficiency, the use of electric vehicle applied in the urban sanitation context and a first calculation of the energetic needs to charge the vehicles that are planned to be acquired in 2030 following the industrial plan of the business unit. The use of SAP PM for the creation of reports useful to the analysis of KPIs will be developed and improvements in terms of predictive maintenance processes will be analysed and suggested. |
