Design and Development of an AUTOSAR Software Component for the control of the front wiper.
Rel. Alessandro Rizzo. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Mechatronic Engineering (Ingegneria Meccatronica), 2022
Abstract: |
The increasing of the number of lines of code in modern vehicles, due to the will of building more complex functionalities, has led to an increasing difficulty in writing hand-written code and to the development of the Model Based Software Design technique, based on the automated code generation from abstract models built following a specific visual language describing the desired behavior. This thesis, carried out in Brain Technologies, describes the application of such approach to the development of an AUTOSAR-compliant software component implementing the control of the front windshield wiper and in its functional testing through Model-, Software- and Processor-in-the-loop simulations. Such component will be integrated into an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), to whose design are working more trainees from different perspectives. The first chapter describes the state of the art of the AUTOSAR software architecture (Classic Platform version 4.4) and the currently available protocols for in-vehicle communication. The second chapter is a description of the followed approach, of the development flow and of the environment in which the software component has been modeled and tested. The third chapter consists in the analysis of the requirements and the implementation of the software component. The last chapter is the description of the performed tests and their results. |
