Abstract: |
Print-easy: project and development of smart printing systems. The aim of this thesis is the development of Print-easy a startup to think differently the work and the service of a copy shop. Print-easy aims to implement software and telecommunication technologies to face the problem that are common in a copy shop or in any point where many people have to print documents sharing resources (like printers and computers). There are some problems also from the point of view of the administration: they have to manage workers and provide enough resources to guarantee an acceptable service for all customers. Print-easy is a project illustrated from the original idea to the first implementation, analyzing all the relevant field: from the business plan to the circuit and the website that provide the service, from the logframe matrix to the NFC tag to recognize users. The aim of this thesis is to show how the implementation of new technologies, like smart card, NFC and Raspberry Pi computers, can solve a problem of ordinary life and become the first step of a new company. |
