Abstract
The thesis initially presents the characteristics and the activity of business angel, then describes the public intervention in the market, presenting its forms and rationales, with a particular attention to the activity of the EAF. The focus then shifts to the group of angels co-operating with the EAF, describing their salient features and analyzing their investments
