HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT OF A WEARABLE SENSORS NETWORK FOR A REMOTE PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANCE PLATFORM.
Rel. Mihai Teodor Lazarescu. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica (Electronic Engineering), 2025
| Abstract: |
Definition of the general and specific objectives of the project: The device consist of a network of wearable sensors that provide information on the inertial response of the system. The objective of the thesis is to design, develop and integrate hardware and software features for the network nodes dedicated to the sensors. Each node have a microprocessor with Wi-Fi connectivity, a 9-axis IMU module (accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope), and is battery powered. The specific objectives are listed below: - Comprehension of functional requirements. - Definition of low-level requirements. - Definition of system architecture. - Circuit design. - Device prototyping. - Firmware development to test functionality. - Testing and validation of requirements. |
