The thesis focuses on the optimization of the internal material handling process at the Kuehne+Nagel warehouse in Turin (Iveco), using the DMAIC methodology. The project was carried out through a systematic analysis of the process in its current configuration (AS-IS), the identification of major wastes, inefficiencies, and their root causes, in order to design targeted and sustainable improvement solutions. The impact of the interventions effectively implemented was evaluated through a comparison of performance indicators in the initial and future configurations (TO-BE) to validate the improvements achieved.
