Understanding the Italian Incubation Landscape: A Data-Driven Analysis.
Rel. Paolo Landoni, Davide Moro. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale (Engineering And Management), 2025
Abstract: |
Incubators and accelerators play a pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurship by providing startups with essential resources, mentorship and fund opportunities and – given the growing importance of entrepreneurship worldwide – the significance of these incubators and accelerators within these ecosystems continues to grow. This data-driven analytical thesis – which was conducted in collaboration with Social Innovation Monitor (SIM) – uses data collected from 55-incubators to investigate the Italian incubation ecosystem by analyzing incubator typologies, funding impact, service differentiation and social entrepreneurship support. It aims to offer valuable insights into the Italian incubation landscape and the impact of both incubators and accelerators. |
