The work for the Master's thesis was carried out in the internal logistic body of a multinational chemical paint-manufacturer company. The objective was to optimize the internal flow of raw materials, starting from an analysis of the as-is situation using some tools from Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. All these analyses, carried out personally around the plant, allowed to propose some implementations to optimize material allocations and flows, gaining benefits from a logistic and safety point of view.
