Abstract
This Master Thesis is the resoult of an internship in Teoresi SpA that provides the Hardware and the Software used to build an Hardware In the Loop (HIL) Test Bench for Permanet Magent Synchronous Motors (PMSMs). The aim of this work is the design and the testing of the HIL Test Bench. In the Test Bench the HIL 602+ Device by Typhoon HIL is used to real-time simulate the physical behavior of the electric machine. The real-time linux operating system is used to run the Field Oriented Control (FOC) algorithm and is operated from Labview. Both Typhoon and Labview software have been used to create an user-friendly Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) to run and monitoring in real-time the system simulation.
Particular attention has been paid in the application of the field-oriented technique including the possivility to achive field-weakening conditions
