Abstract:

Techno-economic analysis on the case study for hydrogen mobility of German fuel cell electric buses (FCEBs) for the cities of Cologne and Wuppertal. Calculation of the LCOH, taking into consideration all the CAPEX and OPEX of the on-site plant, constituting the various components, in order to verify whether the final price of hydrogen is competitive or not compared to the fuels used today. Furthermore, the analysis is developed also considering a future scenario in 2030 in order to evaluate a change in the price trend of the hydrogen produced.
