Abstract: |
With the advancement and transformation of a technology over the past decades the industrial structure has changed substantially. Hence, the Industry 4.0 transformed from the conventional into the intelligent one. This kind of change has been possible due to the implementation of new technologies and techniques. Speaking of new technologies, IoT (Internet of things) has massively impacted onto the development of Industry 4.0. IoT is a rapidly growing technology whose main aim is to connect physical world to the digital one and allow people and “things” to be connected anytime, anywhere ideally using any network and service. There are different kinds of technologies in IoT, but this thesis covers only Raspberry Pi board. The main aim of this thesis work is to show the cooperation of Raspberry Pi board and Codesys software and their implementation in control of electric and pneumatic components in a test bench. Moreover, the thesis work covers the software distance control approach of the electric and pneumatic components. |
