This paper is the result of an internship experience in a Logistics company mainly involved in the road transport of vehicles in Italy and Europe: this company is "i-FAST Automotive Logistics" based in Turin. The objective of this paper is, in a first phase, to provide an overview of the current situation of the outbound logistics sector through the knowledge learned during the internship experience. Secondly, the goal is to describe the different activities performed aimed at the optimization of the internal processes.
