The thesis deals with the design of an IT management system for the structured integration of the data involved in the industrialization process of new purchasing components, with a view to supporting the launch of new products in the commercial vehicle sector, in full compliance with quality, costs and time objectives. After an introductory section addressed into the company context in which the design project is inserted, it will be provided a description of the macro phases that make up the Product Development Process within the automotive industry and, more specifically, within CNH Industrial. This is functional to provide a clear understanding of the key role played by the industrialization process in the development of the new product, and investigate the critical points that need to be addressed by the new IT system under development, to which the last chapter of this thesis is dedicated.
