Virtualization of radio architectures SDR.
Rel. Paolo Bardella. Politecnico di Torino, Corso di laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica (Electronic Engineering), 2020
Abstract: |
My graduation project took place from March, 11th 2019 to September, 6th 2019 in the technical competence center of Genneviliers of THALES SIX GTS France. My mission is to design and optimize a SDR radio modeller in order to help RF architects to design their different models. After a state of the art of radio components and models available on the market, several solutions have been proposed. The tool (called RF_MOD) generates an interface to the user to model and set the desired channel quickly. Then, it is possible to move to the analysis phase of the model thus created. The user therefore has two options: he can perform a static analysis that will rely on the pure characteristics of the components; or it can also perform a dynamic model analysis that relies on the response of the string after injecting a signal at the input. Different analysis modes (frequency and time) were evaluated and then integrated into Simulink modeling. |
