Implementation of SAP (an enterprise resource planning software) in an international small company

The thesis is developed during my internship. In that period, I participated in the whole SAP S/4HANA® implementation process and worked with people from different departments of the company who are responsible for different modules of SAP S/4HANA® suit. I analyzed the current situation of the company and researched the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA® suit. This thesis is going to focus on finding the problems that need to be solved urgently and using the existing SAP management theory in combination with the actual situation of the company to ensure the successful implementation of SAP. Another goal of this thesis is to provide a certain reference for the company that is about to implement the SAP and the consultants who are specialized in implementing SAP. The thesis is organized into 5 chapters. The first and second chapters discuss the purpose of this thesis and the company’s profile. The third chapter addresses the description of the company’s current ERP system and the presentation of the SAP S/4HANA® suit. The fourth chapter deals with the main criticalities in the Implementation. And the fifth chapter is about the improvement activities and results.
