Abstract: |
ICE Test Bench Redevelopment for Hybrid and Electric Powertrain Testing of electric motors is generally done to determine characteristic curve points or entire characteristic curves. In this case, being a passive test bench, a single point at time is analyzed, in order to measure, in each point, all the characteristic physical quantities of interest. Redevelopment activities include all procedures to design Test Bench to correctly accomplish test results, especially measurements accuracy. Therefore, ICE Test Bench upgrading leads to be able to carry out different type of tests, that are: a.??UNECE Regulation No. 85: homologation test needed to correctly characterize Electric Powertrain; b.??Drive Setup and Development: it is needed to correctly configurate all Drive System functions, that are: o Flux – Weakening; o??Torque Ripple: for this purpose, specific instrumentation is needed, aimed at collecting Phase Current – Voltages, potentially synchronized with Motor revolution per minute and Torque measurement, to correctly studying Drive Setup with respect to Torque Ripple. c.??Cooling System Development |
