Abstract
Nowadays we need to be aware of the fact that today's architecture occupies two equally important spaces: the material/geographical space and the digital/media space. Moreover, it has to be taken into account how the type of users has changed radically: new users know how to relate very well to the media and are also much more aware of the quality of the built environment. This process led to an increasing interest in architecture that produced a phenomenon called architectural tourism, whose exponentially growing field of influence could announce the beginning of a direct dialogue between the users and the architectural object.
The main aim of the thesis is to seek the role and the opportunity of the designer by responding to the challenge imposed and driven by the model of the Sharing Economy, that is invading and surpassing the traditional one
