Abstract: |
This project is part of the eSIT4SIP Knowledge Base project. It has been built by the University of Education of Weingarten in cooperation with the Open University of Cyprus and the Linnäus University, as the result of the ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnership Project Empowering the School IT infrastructures for the implementation of Sustainable Instructional Patterns. Its aim is to support teachers in organising the technical realisation of learning scenarios, that require ICTs, provided on the web page of the project. Specifically, this project is an improvement of eSIT4SIP Knowledge Base project, its aim is to provide a graphical representation of all information needed by teachers to choose the best scenario suitable for their aim, according to subject, needed devices and other features. The goal is to provide interactive concepts maps which allow a better navigation on the web page. To do it, the scenarios were scraped from the web environment they were stored in, then each scenario was compared with the ontological map of learning provided by the authors of the eSIT4SIP project; at these two stages the Ruby programming language has been used. Finally, interactive concepts maps were displayed by using the d3.js library, with JavaScript programming language. Starting from the ontological concept map of learning it has been built a map for each domain (or subject), a map for each device and a map for each scenario, showing the topics of the ontological concept map of learning covered. |
