This thesis analyses in detail one aspect on one of the most common objects used today: eyewear. Everybody today has at least one pair of eyewear, but few people know the technology and rules behind them; there are a lot of Standards that regulate eyewear in order to guarantee safety of the users. The analysis will study one of the normed tests in order to create a simple tool to anticipate test result: it consists in applying a force to deform the frame and study the behaviour after the force removal.
