Abstract:

Abstract

L'elaborato inquadra la situazione ambientale contemporanea ed individua nei paesaggi fortemente antropizzati l'origine dei maggiori disequilibri ambientali a scala globale.

Lo studio del metabolismo urbano, in quanto strumento capace d'identificare e misurare i flussi di energia e materiali, è descritto in quanto utile a comprendere il fenomeno dello scarto dei luoghi, che conduce alla formazione dei siti broumfield. Attraverso l'analisi di alcune pubblicazioni scientifiche recenti, viene preso in esame il fenomeno dei brownfield, le sue molteplici definizioni vincolate al contesto paesaggistico, nel senso di contesto geografico-storico e culturale di riferimento, la diffusione attuale di tali siti, le relative opportunità o aspetti critici ed un rapido cenno alla normativa pertinente.

La tesi procede quindi con l'approfondimento degli aspetti relativi alla sostenibilità nella rigenerazione dei brownfield dal punto di vista della progettazione paesaggistica, compresi gli aspetti negoziali e comunicativi sottesi alla positiva riuscita dei progetti e dei tecnicismi di tipo agronomico ed ambientale, con riferimento ad alcune ricerche scientifiche relativa alle tematiche sviluppate.

L'elaborato si conclude con l'approfondimento di un caso studio localizzato nel Comune di Torino, il Parco Dora su Spina 3, nel quale sono state applicate alcune innovazioni sostenibili di rilievo.
