Abstract:

Increasingly more vehicles are moving to electric propulsion, which is indicative of current developments in transportation infrastructure. These vehicles are equipped with a battery-powered electric motor as opposed to an internal combustion engine. The expansion of the electric vehicle sector worldwide, as well as in Uzbekistan, is one of the transport industry's most promising avenues for environmental improvement. The development of this industry requires solving a number of problems, as well as validation of this type of transport and justification of their performance indicators, taking into account different operating conditions. Vehicle engineers and manufacturers throughout the world are currently working to find solutions to a wide range of issues in order to produce electric vehicles that have performance characteristics that are comparable to those of conventional vehicles. Research into the operational factors affecting the service life of small-class electric vehicles is one of the most potential areas of development for electric vehicles worldwide. The main problems of mass use of electric vehicles are low-performance indicators, including the service life of traction batteries used in small class electric vehicles, a significant limitation of autonomous travel compared to vehicles based on internal combustion engines, high cost of batteries, limited implementation of charging infrastructure, deterioration of effective operation at high and low ambient temperatures. Because of its direct impact on the electric vehicle's energy efficiency, battery life deserves special attention when discussing electric vehicles and their component modules. Improving the consumer qualities and availability of electric vehicles is a major priority, and one urgent task is to investigate the validity of variables impacting the service life of small-class electric vehicles.
