Abstract:

The paper deals with the issue of the engineering of new production lines for the 965 Project and the application of the WCM method to them.First of all, a complete study was carried out on the layout proposals made by the builders, once the potential risks and causes of slowing down of the lines themselves were identified, the various proposals for improvement were made. In parallel to this activity, a MUDA and MURI analysis was carried out in application of the WO pillar of the WCM. The analyzes were carried out in two different times in order to be able to underline the results obtained by applying the improvements proposed both from the timing and ergonomic point of view, fundamental KPIs of the project. The first section deals with what the WCM world is with a more in-depth analysis of all the pillars and their fields of application. In the following sections, after a brief presentation of the company in which the project was developed, all the analyzes performed are treated with the presentation of the final results.
