Abstract:

Portfolio Management applied at manufacturing product development pipe: a case of study This project is the summary of two important experiences and in the company SumiRiko Italy SpA of Chivasso: -??The first of the construction of a platform aimed at the reorganization, optimization, and digitization of one of the main strategic processes: the "Tests and Controls" portfolio process of the Laboratory area -??The second of building a model of analysis and monitoring of portfolios of the main corporate projects Therefore, the present work has focused on the analysis of the LABORATORY department, contemplating, and analyzing mainly the Tests & Controls portfolio process, with the various referents from the beginning of the analysis in order to share the innovations in a Bottom-up logic, making them operationally feasible and above all of the convenient application. At the same time, the company, in its position as a "solution provider" thanks to which it designs, tests, and creates complete systems in close collaboration with the R&D departments of the Manufacturers, has demonstrated the need to monitor the various projects in place to analyze the phases, understand the division of workloads in the various business areas so as to effectively plan business activities in the short, medium and long term. The analysis and study carried out in this direction involved the Project Management Office which allowed to develop the part of the experience called Portfolio Monitoring.
