Abstract:

Analysis of China's foreign investment: The Belt and Road Initiative Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the “Belt and Road Initiative” strategy (B&R or BRI) in 2013. The goal is to connect Eurasian countries and promote economic cooperation. The route mainly includes the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the Silk Road economy on land Belt (SREB)) and the Silk Road of Ocean Shipping (MSR). The Silk Road Economic Belt: The new economic corridor formed on the basis of the ancient Silk Road concept started in Xi’an, China, and runs through Central Asia and West Asia. It will lead to the European continent and develop economic partnerships between China and countries along the route. 21st Century Maritime Silk Road: Jointly build safe and efficient transportation channels through maritime interconnection and port city cooperation mechanisms. The main directions of cooperation include from China's coastal ports through the Vietnam China Sea to the Indian Ocean, and then to Europe, and from China's coastal ports through the Vietnam China Sea to the South Pacific. The partner countries designated by the "Belt and Road" are located in South Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, East Africa and Eastern Europe. For these countries, the ability to finance infrastructure construction will bring huge benefits. But this is only the beginning. With the completion of more projects, the construction of the transportation network along the "Belt and Road" has been continuously strengthened. It is expected that Chinese private enterprises will become more active in the “Belt and Road” countries, thereby creating a large number of employment opportunities for local and international partners in various industries.
