Design of an Autonomous Mobile Robot.

Abstract:

Within the framework of Industry 4.0, the company Engineering Data (PME) has developed the EASYPROD product line. The objective is to automate a machining turning center. To strengthen its offer, Engineering Data wishes to develop an autonomous mobile robot. This will allow the transport of raw and/or finished parts between the storage and the different machining stations. This report deals mainly with the thinking that takes place at the beginning of a project. Such as the definition of the concept (options, general/functional operation, etc...) as well as the implementation of the specifications. In addition, it is essential for a project to be successful to precisely define the scope of action of each actor of the project as well as the deadlines to be respected. I explain my approach throughout the project.
